Our Name

Hunter Capital Management is named after the matriarch of the Perkins family, Dorothy Hunter, who was the bedrock of the family. The Perkins boys learned the value of investing from their father and the value of family, strong long-term relationships, honesty, and care for others from their mother Dorothy. Hunter Capital’s mission is to combine a focus on investing success with the values of honesty, integrity, commitment to community, and long-term relationships instilled by Dorthy Hunter.
